Pyritised Holzmaden ammonite plate

Species: Dactylioceras; unidentified clam fossils

Age: 180 million years; Jurassic period

Location: Holzmaden, Germany; Posidonia shale

I have found and prepped this beautiful ammonite myself! There are three ammonites visible on this plate, two of them being preserved positively! They are all preserved in pyrite!
